The greenteQ 2C aluminium adhesive is suitable for the structural bonding of aluminium corner brackets in anodized and powder-coated frame and sash profiles for aluminium window, door and façade construction in specialist companies. The hollow chamber profiles bonded with greenteQ 2C Aluminium Adhesive can be subsequently powder-coated.

The greenteQ 2C Aluminium Adhesive is used for the constructive force-fit bonding of GRP sandwich structures in vehicle construction in specialist companies and for bonding other materials, e.g. aluminium or HPL in specialist companies.

It is characterized by the easy handling of the tandem cartridge with the greenteQ static mixing tube for constructive bonding. The greenteQ 2C aluminum adhesive is thixotropic, does not drip, contains no solvents, can be painted over when cured and has good weather resistance.

Technical data:

• Basis: 2-component PUR reaction adhesive, solvent-free (free from easily technical volatile organic compounds, boiling point < +170°C)
• Film property (of the cured film): tough-hard
• Shore hardness (of the film cured at +20°C according to DIN 53505): 85 Shore-D
• Viscosity (at +20°C): low viscosity-pasty
• Density (according to EN 542 at +20°C): approx. 1.52 g/cm³
• Pot life (of a 100 g preparation at +20°C): approx. 60 min
• Processing time (of the tandem cartridge with static mixing tube at +20°C with tandem compressed air gun): approx. 30 min (the processing times are reduced to approx. half the time at +30°C, at +10°C the time is doubled)
• Functional strength (e.g. corner angle bonding at +20°C): approx. 6 h
• Curing time at +20°C, 60 % rel. humidity to ~75 %: approx. 24 h
• Curing time until final strength is reached: approx. 7 d
• Minimum processing temperature: from +7°C
• Temperature resistance: short-term up to +230° C / permanent up to +110° C
• Tensile shear strength DIN/EN Alu/Alu (0.2 mm joint) at +20°C / at +80°C: approx. 18.0 N/mm² / approx. 9.0 N/mm²
