TBT function: The designation TBT (Tilt Before Turn) refers to the opening sequence of the window: locking position (0°), tilt position (90°) and opening position (180°). Please note: The TBT function is only guaranteed if a corresponding turn/tilt fitting intended for this function is used.

TBT1 function: The locking cylinder does not need to be unlocked to tilt the window (window handle in horizontal 90° position). To turn the window handle to the opening position (vertical position 180° upwards), the locking cylinder must first be unlocked. This secures TBT windows against unintentional opening from the inside, e.g. by children.
